The Cavaliers entered the Footprint Center with momentum but found themselves outpaced by a determined Suns squad. Despite putting up an impressive 101 points and leading for just over four minutes, the Cavs were unable to contain their opponents' offensive onslaught. The team's effort was highlighted by their ability to draw fouls effectively, earning them 17 opportunities at the free throw line where they capitalized with an excellent conversion rate of 84 percent.

Cleveland's offense was firing on all cylinders inside the paint where they scored 60 points and shot an impressive 59 percent from that area. They also showed resilience on defense with nine steals and four blocks. However, this defensive tenacity wasn't enough to slow down the Suns' attack.

The Cavaliers' bench contributed a modest 13 points to their total score but struggled to match up against Phoenix's reserves who put up nearly double that amount with 24 points. Turnovers proved costly for Cleveland as well; despite having only two fewer than their opponents (15 compared to Phoenix's 16), they allowed more points off turnovers (25) than they scored from them (19).

On offense, Cleveland managed a field goal percentage of just under half at 47 percent and converted seven out of twenty-six attempts from beyond the arc—a three-point shooting percentage of only about one quarter—showing room for improvement from distance.

Looking ahead after this setback on Arizona soil, fans can catch their next game when The Cleveland Cavaliers travel west again to face off against The Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This matchup is scheduled for April 6th at 3:30 PM Eastern Time and will be broadcasted on SportsNet LA as well as CW43 for those tuning in from different locations.
