The game started off competitive with the Cavaliers putting up a strong fight in the first quarter, scoring 28 points to Boston's 30. However, as the game progressed, they struggled to maintain momentum. The second quarter saw them adding only 20 points to their tally compared to Boston's 27. Despite efforts to close the gap in the third and fourth quarters with scores of 21 and 24 respectively, it wasn't enough to overcome Boston's consistent performance across all quarters.

The Cavaliers showcased resilience through their scoring efforts led by their attempts from both inside and outside of paint. They managed a total of 93 points with a shooting percentage of around fifty percent from two-point range but were less effective from beyond the arc at thirty-three percent accuracy. Their free throw performance was commendable at ninety percent success rate.

On defense and rebounding fronts, Cleveland had its challenges against a robust Celtics offense that managed fifty-one rebounds and scored fifty points in paint alone. The home team secured forty rebounds but fell short on blocking shots with only two blocks compared to Boston's four.

Boston’s strategy paid dividends as they led for over forty-one minutes of game time and achieved their biggest lead of twenty-three points during play. Their ability to convert fast break opportunities into twelve points played a significant role in maintaining their lead throughout.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate an exciting continuation of this rivalry as Cleveland Cavaliers are set to host Boston Celtics once again at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on May 13th at seven PM Eastern Time. This upcoming game promises another chapter in this intense postseason battle which will be broadcasted live on TNT and truTV for fans not able to attend in person at downtown Cleveland’s premier sports venue.
