Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics: Who Led the Charge in Game 4?

In a closely contested battle at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, the Cleveland Cavaliers fell short against the Boston Celtics with a final score of 102-109. This result moves the Cavaliers to a 48-34 record for the season, while the Celtics improve to 64-18.

The game was marked by intense competition from start to finish. The Cleveland Cavaliers showcased their skills early on, managing to secure a lead with their highest point difference being six. However, their time leading was limited to just three minutes throughout the game. Despite this, they demonstrated strong offensive tactics, scoring 42 points in paint out of an attempted 39 shots and converting these into successful baskets at a rate of 54 percent.


The Cavaliers also excelled in capitalizing on turnovers, scoring an impressive 26 points off turnovers thanks to their defensive efforts which included eight steals. Their bench contributed significantly as well with 17 points. On defense, they managed three blocks and drew twelve fouls but faced challenges containing the Celtics' fast breaks and inside scoring.


On the other side of the court, The Boston Celtics displayed remarkable efficiency and control over the game's pace. They led for over forty-three minutes and achieved their largest lead of fifteen points through strategic plays that saw them shooting at a high percentage across various metrics - including an outstanding fast break percentage of one hundred percent which resulted in twenty-two fast break points.


The Celtics were formidable from beyond the arc as well; hitting twelve out of thirty-two three-point attempts which translated into thirty-eight percent success rate from long range. Their ability to draw fouls proved advantageous too; they made eighty-eight percent of their free throws from twenty-four attempts.
