The Cleveland Cavaliers have once again proven their dominance on the basketball court with a commanding victory over the Phoenix Suns. The final score stood at 118-92, marking a significant triumph for the Cavaliers who now boast a record of 36-6, further cementing their position as one of the top teams this season. Cavaliers' Stellar Performance

The game was highlighted by an impressive display from Donovan Mitchell, who led his team with 33 points, showcasing his scoring ability both inside and beyond the arc. His performance was complemented by Darius Garland's all-around play; Garland notched up 16 points and dished out seven assists, demonstrating his vision and playmaking skills. Jarrett Allen also made significant contributions with a double-double consisting of 12 points and an impressive haul of 11 rebounds.

The Cavaliers excelled in various aspects of the game. Their defensive efforts were notable, managing to steal the ball ten times from their opponents. This defensive pressure contributed to their offensive opportunities, allowing them to score 15 points off turnovers. Additionally, Cleveland's bench depth was on full display as they contributed a hefty 40 points to their total score.

Suns Struggle Against Cavalier's Defense

Despite efforts from the Phoenix Suns to keep pace with Cleveland's scoring onslaught, they found themselves trailing throughout most of the game. The Suns managed to shoot at a decent clip from beyond the arc (38 percent) but struggled overall with field goal attempts landing only 47 percent compared to Cleveland’s more efficient shooting night.

Phoenix’s leading scorer remained unnamed in this matchup but what stood out was their inability to control possession effectively; turning over the ball seventeen times which significantly hampered any momentum they hoped to build against a disciplined Cavaliers defense.

Looking Ahead

As fans revel in this latest victory for Cleveland Cavaliers, attention already begins to turn towards their next challenge on January 22nd against Houston Rockets at Toyota Center in Houston. This upcoming game promises another exciting chapter for Cavs fans who can catch all live action on SCHN or FDSOH networks starting at 8:00 PM EDT.
