First Quarter

The opening quarter set the tone for what would be a challenging night for the Wine and Gold. The Celtics came out strong, scoring 33 points compared to Cleveland's 17. Despite efforts from Tyrese Proctor, who contributed significantly with his playmaking abilities, the Cavs struggled to keep up with Boston's pace.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Cleveland attempted to close the gap by scoring 29 points. Donovan Mitchell led this charge with his dynamic offensive skills but was met by an equally determined Jaylen Brown from Boston. The C's continued their offensive onslaught by adding another 37 points before halftime.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, Larry Nance Jr.'s defensive efforts were notable as he secured rebounds and steals that momentarily shifted momentum towards Cleveland. However, Boston maintained control of the game through efficient shooting and strategic ball movement that resulted in them scoring another 32 points during this period.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw both teams pushing hard; however, it was clear that Boston had established an insurmountable lead early on. Despite Norchad Omier’s perfect shooting percentage contributing valuable points off fast breaks for Cleveland, they couldn't overcome their defensive lapses which allowed Boston to score an additional 36 points.

Throughout this matchup between these Eastern Conference rivals—highlighted by game-changing plays—the Cavs demonstrated potential but ultimately fell short against a well-oiled Celtic machine known for its depth and versatility across positions.
