Cleveland Cavaliers Cast a Spell Over Washington Wizards at Rocket Arena

The Cleveland Cavaliers improved their record to 34-21 with a commanding 138-113 victory over the Washington Wizards, who now stand at 14-39. The Cavs showcased their offensive prowess from the start, taking control of the game early and never relinquishing their lead.

First Quarter


The Wine and Gold set the tone in the first quarter by scoring an impressive 40 points. Donovan Mitchell led the charge with his dynamic playmaking and scoring ability, contributing significantly to Cleveland's early dominance. The Cavs' defense also played a crucial role, limiting DC's opportunities and forcing turnovers that were converted into fast-break points.


Second Quarter


In the second quarter, Cleveland continued to apply pressure on both ends of the court. Jarrett Allen was instrumental in maintaining defensive intensity with his shot-blocking presence in the paint. Offensively, Sam Merrill provided a spark off the bench by hitting crucial three-pointers that extended Cleveland's lead further. By halftime, they had amassed a substantial advantage over DC.


Third Quarter


As play resumed after halftime, Tyrese Proctor stepped up for Cleveland with his efficient shooting from beyond the arc.
