The Dallas Mavericks put up a resilient fight throughout the game. They scored consistently across all quarters with 29 points in the first, followed by an impressive 37 in the second. Their performance continued with 25 points in the third quarter and they pushed through to add another 32 points in the fourth. Overtime saw them add seven additional points to their tally.

Offensively, Dallas showcased significant prowess inside as they accumulated a total of 68 points in paint from their attempts. Their shooting was efficient from two-point range where they converted an impressive 68 percent of their shots. From beyond the arc, however, they struggled slightly with only a 26 percent success rate despite making ten three-pointers during the game.

The team's effort was also evident on defense and on fast breaks where they managed to score nineteen fast break points from eight successful attempts out of fourteen - showing a conversion rate of approximately fifty-seven percent for fast breaks. The Mavericks' bench contributed significantly as well with forty-six bench points.

Despite these efforts, it was not enough to secure victory against The Hawks who had ten steals and led for over forty-one minutes during regulation time compared to just over seven minutes for Dallas. Atlanta also capitalized on turnovers scoring twenty-three points off turnovers compared to ten by Dallas.

The upcoming game for The Dallas Mavericks is set against Sacramento Kings at American Airlines Center on April fifth at seven-thirty PM local time (Central Time). Fans can catch this matchup live on BSSW or NBCS-CA depending on their location.
