The game was marked by intense back-and-forth action, with both teams showcasing their offensive capabilities. The Dallas Mavericks put up an impressive fight, especially in the fourth quarter where they scored a remarkable 40 points. Despite this surge, it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit created earlier in the game. The home team's efforts were led by their sharpshooting from beyond the arc, converting on 16 out of their 41 three-point attempts for an impressive shooting percentage of nearly forty percent.

The Philadelphia team demonstrated strong offensive efficiency throughout the match and capitalized on turnovers scoring twenty-five points off them. Their free throw accuracy was near perfect as they made twenty-nine out of thirty-one attempts from the line which played a crucial role in securing their victory.

The Dallas squad showed resilience and determination as they fought to close an eighteen-point gap created by Philadelphia's largest lead during playtime that spanned over thirty-nine minutes. The home team managed to draw nineteen fouls and converted twenty free throws at an eighty-seven percent rate contributing significantly to keeping them within striking distance.

Rebounding was another area where Dallas excelled; pulling down fifty-three boards including twelve offensive rebounds which led to twenty-four second-chance points. However, ball security proved costly for them as they turned over possession seventeen times compared to just nine turnovers by their opponents.
