In their most recent outing against the Oklahoma City Thunder, despite a high-scoring effort that saw them put up 119 points, they were outpaced by seven points in a game where they led for just over seven minutes. Their shooting was efficient from both two-point (56 percent) and three-point range (41 percent), but turnovers proved costly as they gave up 20 points from these errors.

However, looking back at their game before that against the Golden State Warriors paints a more favorable picture. The Mavericks dominated time of possession with over 44 minutes leading and secured an impressive win with strong defensive play – blocking an outstanding 13 shots – while also maintaining offensive efficiency with a field goal percentage of 54 percent.
