From the onset, the Mavericks took control of the game, leading by as much as 38 points at one stage. Anthony Davis was instrumental in this commanding performance, contributing significantly with 23 points, 13 rebounds, and an impressive seven blocks. His efficiency on both ends of the court was evident throughout the match.

The team's offensive prowess was further highlighted by their shooting accuracy; they made 55 percent of their field goals and an impressive 44 percent from beyond the arc. Raptors' Struggles Against Dallas

On the other side, Toronto struggled to keep pace with Dallas's high-octane offense. Despite RJ Barrett's efforts to rally his team with consistent scoring attempts, he couldn't overcome Dallas’s defensive pressure led by Davis and company. The Raptors managed only a field goal percentage of 40 percent which hampered their ability to close any gaps created during critical moments in each quarter.

Toronto did find some success inside the paint where they scored more than half of their total points but were unable to capitalize on fast-break opportunities effectively due to turnovers that plagued them throughout this matchup.
