Did the Dallas Mavericks' Defense Dominate the Oklahoma City Thunder at Dickies Arena?

First Quarter

Second Quarter


In the second quarter, Big D extended their lead further by scoring 37 points compared to OKC's 20. The Mavs showcased their offensive depth as bench players added a remarkable 75 points overall. P.J. Washington stood out with his efficient play, scoring 14 points on a field goal percentage of 44 percent and making crucial plays that kept momentum firmly in Dallas' favor.


Third Quarter


The third quarter saw a slight dip in scoring for both teams; however, Dallas maintained control with solid defensive efforts and strategic ball movement. Dereck Lively II made his presence felt on both ends of the court, contributing four points along with two assists and four rebounds while maintaining an impressive field goal percentage of 50 percent.


Fourth Quarter


As they entered the final stretch, Dallas continued to dominate defensively while adding another 24 points to secure their victory over OKC with a final scoreline of 106-89. The Thunder struggled offensively despite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's attempts to rally his team back into contention but were ultimately stifled by Big D’s relentless defense.
