First Quarter

The game began with the Hornets taking control early on. The Mavs managed to score 23 points in the first quarter, but it was overshadowed by Buzz City's impressive start with 31 points. The Hornets' ability to capitalize on their three-point attempts set them apart from Big D's efforts.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams showed resilience. Dallas put up 25 points, trying to close the gap created earlier. However, Charlotte maintained their lead by adding another 26 points to their tally. Despite Ryan Nembhard's defensive efforts with three steals and four assists throughout the game, it wasn't enough to shift momentum in favor of Dallas.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw an offensive surge from Charlotte as they scored a remarkable 35 points compared to Dallas' 24. Klay Thompson contributed significantly for Big D with his shooting prowess but couldn't match Buzz City's relentless attack from beyond the arc.

Fourth Quarter

As time wound down in the fourth quarter, any hopes for a comeback were dashed when Charlotte continued their dominance by scoring another 25 points while holding Dallas to just 18. Dwight Powell stood out for Mavs with his efficiency and contribution of twelve points and four rebounds; however, it was insufficient against Hive's well-rounded performance.

Throughout this matchup, one key factor was Buzz City's superior shooting accuracy—especially from long range—where they converted an impressive percentage of their attempts into successful shots compared against Mavs’ struggles behind-the-line conversions which ultimately led them falling short during crucial moments within each period played tonight here at Spectrum Center arena located inside North Carolina state capital city limits itself!
