Clash at American Airlines Center: Denver Nuggets Take on Dallas Mavericks

As the Denver Nuggets prepare to face off against the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be an electrifying game. The Nuggets, coming off a nail-biting encounter with the New York Knicks on November 17th where they narrowly lost 103-106, will be looking to bounce back and assert their dominance.

The previous matchup saw the Nuggets leading for a significant portion of the game, clocking in 28 minutes at the helm compared to just under 14 minutes for the Knicks. Despite this control and a strong bench performance contributing 50 points, turnovers proved costly for Denver as they gave up possession 15 times. This was compounded by their three-point shooting percentage sitting at a modest 37 percent from beyond the arc.

However, there's reason for optimism when looking back at Denver's performance against Chicago Bulls on November 14th. The Nuggets showcased their offensive prowess by racking up an impressive total of 126 points and maintaining control throughout without ever relinquishing their lead. Their field goal percentage was an outstanding 60 percent overall with an even more impressive three-point shooting display hitting nearly half of their attempts.

Denver's ability to dominate inside was evident as they scored a whopping 58 points in paint against Chicago while also keeping turnovers relatively low with only sixteen instances. This level of efficiency is something that fans can hope will carry over into their upcoming game against Dallas.

The Mavericks' home court advantage cannot be overlooked though; playing in front of their own crowd could provide them with that extra push needed during critical moments of play. However, if Denver can replicate some aspects from its high-scoring affair versus Chicago and tighten up ball security as seen in previous games this season, they stand a good chance of emerging victorious.

Looking ahead to November 19th at American Airlines Center scheduled tip-off time is set for 8:30 PM ET (7:30 PM local time). Fans eager not to miss any action should tune into BSSW channel number 676 or ALT channel number681 depending on your location for live coverage. With both teams eager to claim victory and continue building momentum early in this NBA season, it’s shaping up to be quite the showdown in Dallas.
