Clash at State Farm Arena: Denver Nuggets Take On Atlanta Hawks

As the Denver Nuggets gear up to face the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can bounce back from a recent setback. The Nuggets, who currently hold a 14-9 record after their last game on December 9 against the Houston Rockets, showed resilience despite falling short with a final score of 106-114.

In that game, Denver's offense struggled to find its rhythm, shooting only 42 percent from the field and an underwhelming 36 percent from beyond the arc. Their bench contributed a solid 25 points but it wasn't enough to overcome Houston's explosive third quarter where they racked up an impressive 40 points. The Nuggets' defense also had lapses allowing Houston to lead for over three-quarters of the game.

However, looking back at their performance on December 7 against the LA Clippers provides some optimism. Despite losing with a close score of 102-111, Denver showcased their ability to distribute the ball effectively with an impressive tally of 29 assists and maintained a strong presence in paint scoring with a total of 46 points.

The upcoming contest against Atlanta poses both challenges and opportunities for Denver. The Hawks have been formidable opponents this season and will have home-court advantage which historically plays in favor of any NBA team. Yet, this is where Denver can capitalize on their strengths - sharing the ball efficiently as demonstrated by their high assist numbers (35 assists on December 3 against Sacramento Kings) and dominating inside scoring (62 points in paint during that same game).

The key for victory lies within tightening up defensively while maintaining offensive consistency throughout all four quarters – something they've struggled with recently but have shown potential in earlier matchups.

Fans should expect an intense battle as both teams vie for dominance in what promises to be an electrifying atmosphere at State Farm Arena. With tip-off scheduled for December 12 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta at GA zip code area of 30303 fans won't want to miss this showdown which will be broadcasted locally on BSSE channel number 649 and ALT2 channel number 681-1 respectively for home and away audiences.
