At Ball Arena, the Denver Nuggets delivered an impressive performance against their opponents. The game began with a solid start for the home team as they outscored the Timberwolves 26 to 23 in the first quarter. The momentum continued through to halftime as they extended their lead with a second-quarter score of 29 to 21.

The third quarter saw the Nuggets' highest-scoring period with 32 points while holding Minnesota to just 14 points, further widening their advantage and setting up a comfortable lead going into the final quarter. Despite being outscored by two points in the fourth quarter (22-20), it was clear that Denver had firmly secured their victory early on.

Key statistics from this matchup highlight Denver's superior shooting accuracy; they achieved a field goal percentage of approximately 46 percent compared to Minnesota's lower rate of about 37 percent. Additionally, Denver capitalized on three-point shots making about half again as many (16) as Minnesota did (11). This sharpshooting contributed significantly to their overall score.

Rebounding was another area where Denver excelled; they collected a total of around twice as many rebounds (65) than Minnesota did (48). Of these rebounds for Denver, there were more defensive ones than offensive ones but both contributed greatly to maintaining possession and creating scoring opportunities.

Assists also played an important role in this game; while both teams performed well in this regard, it was once again Denver who led with around one-third more assists than Minnesota (24 versus18), indicating strong teamwork and ball movement throughout their roster.

Defensively speaking, both teams managed six steals each during playtime but it was ultimately Denver’s ability to convert defense into offense that stood out – evidenced by them scoring five more points off turnovers than their opponents did.
