At the American Airlines Center, the Denver Nuggets showcased their resilience in a tightly fought battle against the Dallas Mavericks. The Nuggets started strong with an opening quarter tally of 25 points and maintained their momentum to add another 30 points before halftime. Their offensive efforts were consistent as they scored 24 points in the third quarter and finished with 19 points in the final period.

The team's performance was bolstered by significant contributions from their bench players, who accounted for more than half of their total score with 51 bench points. The Nuggets also demonstrated efficiency on both ends of the court; they shot nearly fifty percent from field goal range and approximately thirty-three percent from beyond the arc while making nine three-pointers.

Defensively, Denver was just as impressive. They managed to block five shots and recorded ten steals throughout the game. Their defensive prowess was further highlighted by holding their opponents to under one hundred points.

Rebounding played a crucial role in this contest as well; Denver outrebounded Dallas by seven boards overall, grabbing fifty-two rebounds including forty-four personal rebounds and eight team rebounds which contributed to their edge over Dallas.

In terms of ball movement and creating scoring opportunities for each other, Denver tallied twenty-two assists. This teamwork extended to capitalizing on turnovers where they scored twenty-three points off turnovers caused by relentless defensive pressure.
