In an intense matchup at Ball Arena, the Denver Nuggets managed to outlast the Phoenix Suns. The game saw numerous lead changes and was tied multiple times, indicating how evenly matched both teams were throughout the contest. The Nuggets' bench made a significant impact by contributing 55 points to their total score. This depth proved crucial as it helped them overcome periods when their starters were resting.

Denver's field goal percentage stood at 45 percent with successful execution on both two-pointers (53 percent) and three-pointers (33 percent). Their ability to draw fouls and get to the line was evident as they attempted 36 free throws; however, they struggled slightly from the charity stripe with a free throw percentage of just over 61 percent.

Defensively, the Nuggets managed nine steals and blocked three shots while drawing more fouls than they committed. They also outrebounded their opponents with a total of 57 rebounds—30 defensive and ten offensive—which gave them additional second-chance opportunities that resulted in 14 points.

The Suns put up an admirable fight against this pressure. They led for nearly half an hour of game time and had moments where they seemed poised to take control. Their biggest lead was nine points compared to Denver's five-point maximum advantage. Phoenix shot better from beyond the arc compared to Denver, hitting twelve threes for a three-point shooting percentage of around 32 percent.

Despite these efforts by Phoenix, it was ultimately Denver's night as they maintained composure during critical moments leading up to their victory. The efficiency game score slightly favored Denver at approximately 79 compared to Phoenix's near equivalent performance reflected in their efficiency game score of about 79 as well.

Looking ahead for fans of the Denver Nuggets is another exciting matchup against LA Clippers at Toyota Arena on October 12th at approximately 7:30 PM local time (Mountain Time Zone). This away game will be broadcasted on KTLA for those looking forward to watching another display of competitive basketball featuring their beloved team.
