At Ball Arena, the home crowd witnessed an impressive display by the Nuggets as they dominated the court for most of the game. The team led for over forty-two minutes and built up their biggest lead to twenty-two points. Their offensive efforts were reflected in their field goal percentage which stood at fifty-six percent after sinking fifty out of ninety attempts. From beyond the arc, they hit fourteen three-pointers on thirty-three attempts achieving a forty-two percent success rate.

The Nuggets' scoring was bolstered by significant contributions from their bench players who added thirty-two points to the total tally. They also capitalized on second-chance opportunities scoring sixteen points from twelve attempts and maintained an efficient free throw percentage matching that of their opponents at seventy-three percent.

Defensively, Denver held its ground with four blocks and five steals while drawing ten fouls throughout the game. The team's defensive prowess was evident as they limited New Orleans to just fifty-four percent shooting during fast breaks and kept them below their season average in points scored.

On individual performances, several Nuggets players stepped up to fill the stat sheet contributing equally in assists with thirty recorded for both teams but excelling in rebounds where Denver outmatched New Orleans by fifteen boards grabbing fifty-six rebounds compared to forty-one by their opponents.

Despite committing seventeen turnovers compared to nine by New Orleans, Denver managed to maintain control due largely to their higher efficiency rating of one hundred forty-two against one hundred thirty-two for New Orleans. This efficiency translated into more effective ball movement and shot selection which ultimately made the difference in this high-scoring matchup.
