Nuggets Edge Pacers in a Close Encounter at Gainbridge Fieldhouse

In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, the Nuggets managed to outperform their opponents on their home court. The team's efficiency was evident as they posted an offensive rating of 118 and a defensive rating just under 110. Their scoring was consistent throughout the game, with a remarkable third quarter where they racked up 39 points which significantly contributed to their win.


The Nuggets' offense was firing on all cylinders as they shot 50 percent from the field and an exceptional 88 percent from the free-throw line. They also dominated inside, scoring half a century worth of points in paint while maintaining a strong two-point shooting percentage at 60 percent. From beyond the arc, they made eleven three-pointers at a rate of one-third success.


Defensively, Denver showed prowess by blocking nine shots and stealing five times from their opponents. They were also diligent on both ends of the court with total rebounds tallying up to 47; offensive boards accounted for eleven while defensive ones stood at thirty-one.


Key players stepped up for Denver; their bench contributed significantly with twenty-four points. The team's biggest lead during play was thirteen points which showcased their ability to control the game tempo effectively.


On Indiana's side despite being ejected once and having two technical fouls called against them – managed to keep things competitive until the end. Their bench outscored Denver’s reserves by sixteen points but it wasn't enough to overcome Denver’s balanced attack.


As for individual performances that stood out: no player fouled out from either side indicating disciplined play throughout this closely contested matchup that saw twelve lead changes and nine instances where scores were tied.
