In their last outing against the Sacramento Kings, the Nuggets faced a tough loss with a final score of 106-135. Despite this setback, they showcased an ability to score efficiently in the paint and from beyond the arc, with a true shooting percentage of 56 percent. However, defensive challenges were evident as they allowed 135 points against them and had an unfavorable defensive rating of approximately 129.

Prior to that game, Denver secured a win over the Los Angeles Lakers with a scoreline of 114-106. Their offensive prowess was on display as they led for nearly 46 minutes and managed an offensive rating just shy of 114. The team's ability to convert second-chance opportunities into points was notable as well.

The matchup before facing the Lakers saw Denver triumph over Portland Trail Blazers in a close contest ending at 112-103. The Nuggets' bench contributed significantly with fast break points and second-chance scoring being key factors in their victory.

As we look ahead to their face-off against Washington Wizards, it's crucial for Denver to tighten up defensively while maintaining their offensive efficiency. Playing at Ball Arena should give them an added boost where they have historically performed well.
