In their last game against the Phoenix Suns, despite a strong start with 32 points in the first quarter and maintaining a lead for over 11 minutes, they ultimately fell short with a final score of 107-117. This loss was marked by a -10 plus-minus rating and an efficiency game score of 81.6. Their three-point shooting was decent at 38 percent but turnovers were an issue as they gave up possession 15 times.

However, looking back at their previous match against the Los Angeles Lakers gives fans reason for optimism. The Nuggets emerged victorious with an impressive scoreline of 124-114, showcasing offensive prowess with a field goal percentage of 59 and effective field goal percentage standing at an impressive 65 percent. They also demonstrated better control over turnovers and had a positive plus-minus rating of +10.

Against Miami Heat prior to that victory, Denver managed to secure another win (103-97), leading for almost the entire game (over 47 minutes). Their defensive efforts were notable as they held Miami Heat without any lead throughout the contest.

The venue may play into Dallas' hands as home-court advantage often proves influential in basketball matchups; however, Denver's recent performance on both ends of the court suggests that they can rise to this challenge.
