The Denver Nuggets, with a record of 30-19, secured another victory against the Charlotte Hornets, who now stand at 12-34, in a closely contested game that ended 107-104. Game Highlights


The Nuggets showcased their strategic prowess throughout the game, leading for almost 42 minutes and achieving their biggest lead of 17 points. Their performance in the third quarter was particularly noteworthy as they scored 36 points, demonstrating their offensive capabilities. Nikola Jokic led the team with an outstanding performance, scoring 28 points along with providing 17 assists and grabbing 13 rebounds. His contribution was pivotal to Denver's success. On defense, Zeke Nnaji stood out by blocking five shots which contributed to Denver's nine total blocks for the game. This defensive solidity limited Charlotte's scoring opportunities inside the paint despite their efforts to penetrate.


Opposition Efforts


The Charlotte Hornets showed resilience throughout the match. They managed to narrow down Denver’s lead significantly in various instances thanks to their bench contributing a substantial thirty-five points and securing fifty-nine rebounds as a team which surpassed Denver’s forty-eight.

Their comeback attempt in the fourth quarter added tension to the closing moments as they outscored Denver twenty-three to seventeen but ultimately fell short. The Hornets were led by efforts from players who capitalized on second-chance opportunities generating seventeen second-chance points from thirteen attempts.
