Jokic's Impact


Nikola Jokic was instrumental in the Nuggets' win, delivering an impressive triple-double with 26 points, 13 assists, and 16 rebounds. His performance was crucial in overcoming Memphis' initial dominance. Aaron Gordon also contributed significantly with a team-high of 33 points and added five rebounds to his tally.


The Nuggets showcased strong teamwork with a total of 32 assists compared to the Grizzlies' 26. Their effective ball movement allowed them to capitalize on scoring opportunities throughout the game.

Grizzlies' Efforts


Despite their loss, the Grizzlies had moments of brilliance. They led for over forty minutes and achieved a significant lead of up to fifteen points during the match. However, they were unable to sustain this advantage against Denver's relentless offense.


Memphis excelled in fast-break situations with a high conversion rate but struggled defensively against Denver's paint dominance where they conceded seventy-two points.
