The Pistons' recent performances have shown a mix of resilience and challenges. Despite a tough season with only two wins against twenty-seven losses, there have been glimpses of potential that could be harnessed. In their last game against the Brooklyn Nets, they scored an impressive 115 points but ultimately fell short by eleven points in a high-scoring affair. Their offensive output was solid with a field goal percentage of 49 percent and three-point shooting at 43 percent, indicating that when they find rhythm, they can compete with tenacity.

However, defensive woes continue to plague the Pistons as evidenced by allowing 126 points against the Nets and carrying a defensive rating of nearly 120 points per hundred possessions. This aspect will be crucial when facing an Orlando team that will undoubtedly look to exploit any lapses on defense.

The Pistons' bench has contributed meaningfully but will need to step up even more to provide depth and rest for starters who have been shouldering much of the scoring load. Ball movement has been positive with an assist turnover ratio above two in their last outing; maintaining this trend could be key in creating high-quality shots against Orlando.

Rebounding has also been competitive for Detroit; however, limiting turnovers which led to eight points off turnovers last game will be essential in keeping pace with Orlando's offense.
