The Detroit Pistons showcased a robust offensive effort despite falling short against the Clippers. The team's scoring was consistent throughout the game, starting strong with 30 points in the first quarter and finishing with a total of 106 points. Their efficiency on court was evident with an overall field goal percentage of 44 and they excelled from beyond the arc hitting nine out of thirty three-point attempts for a three-point shooting percentage of 30.

The Pistons' bench contributed significantly to their performance, adding 41 points to their tally. In terms of rebounds, they dominated by securing a total of 60 compared to the Clippers' 43. This included an impressive count of offensive rebounds at fourteen which led to twelve second-chance points.

Defensively, however, there were challenges as evidenced by their defensive rating which stood at slightly over one hundred seven per possession while managing only two blocks throughout the game. They also recorded seven steals and drew nineteen fouls from their opponents but committed twenty-one fouls themselves.

One notable aspect for Detroit was their ability to capitalize on turnovers; they scored sixteen points off turnovers while giving up thirteen in return. Additionally, they maintained control over fast break situations scoring twenty-eight fast break points from twenty attempts which is indicative of their sixty-five percent success rate in these scenarios.

On offense inside paint proved fruitful for Detroit as well; they made thirty-four out of sixty-six attempts resulting in sixty-eight paint points – more than half their overall score.

Turning attention towards LA Clippers' performance reveals that despite fewer total rebounds and assists than Detroit's numbers – forty-three and twenty respectively – they managed higher efficiency leading them to victory with one hundred twelve total game points. Their free throw accuracy nearly perfect at ninety-six percent played a crucial role alongside better shot-blocking capabilities registering six blocks during playtime.
