The Pistons have been struggling with consistency this season, as reflected in their recent performances. With a record of 8 wins and 46 losses, they are clearly in a rebuilding phase. In their last game against Phoenix Suns, despite scoring an impressive 100 points and showing resilience by leading for a brief period, they were outpaced by Suns' dynamic offense that put up 116 points. The Pistons demonstrated tenacity on defense with 14 steals and managed to block five shots but ultimately fell short due to their -16 plus-minus rating.

Offensively, Detroit has shown some sparks but needs more firepower; they shot only 38 percent from the field and a concerning 27 percent from beyond the arc in that game. However, there's hope as they saw significant contributions from their bench with 46 points and managed to draw fouls effectively leading them to shoot free throws at a rate of 64 percent.

Looking ahead at Chicago's home turf presents another challenge for Detroit. Playing away games always adds pressure due to unfamiliar surroundings and lack of home support which could influence performance negatively if not managed well.

The Pistons will need all hands on deck as they attempt an upset over Chicago Bulls in enemy territory. Fans can catch this match-up live on NBCS-CHI or BSDETX depending on your locale – don't miss out!
