In their last game against the Miami Heat, despite a loss with a score of 110-118, there were positive takeaways for the Pistons. They shot an impressive 91 percent from the free-throw line and maintained a field goal percentage of 44 percent. However, they struggled beyond the arc with only a 29 percent success rate on three-point attempts. The team also showed resilience in points production inside the paint with 48 points.

The previous match-up saw them facing Orlando Magic where they lost by a margin of 22 points (91-113). The Pistons managed to convert half of their two-point attempts but were hindered by turnovers and lower shooting efficiency overall.

Against Cleveland Cavaliers at home, Detroit put up an admirable fight but ultimately fell short by ten points (100-110). They showcased defensive prowess with seven blocks and ten steals but were outmatched in terms of shooting efficiency and rebounding.

The upcoming game's venue, TD Garden, is known for its intense atmosphere which could influence performance levels. With these statistical trends in mind – particularly concerning shooting percentages and ball handling – it's clear that if Detroit wishes to improve upon their record, they must focus on enhancing offensive execution while maintaining defensive intensity.
