In their last game against the Memphis Grizzlies, the Pistons narrowly missed out on victory with a final score of 108-110. Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways; they led for over 35 minutes and showcased an impressive field goal percentage of 51 percent. Their offensive efforts were further highlighted by scoring 44 points in the paint and securing fast break points with a success rate of 67 percent.

However, turnovers continue to be an area of concern for Detroit as they gave up possession 14 times in that game alone. This has been a recurring issue as seen in previous games against Washington Wizards and Minnesota Timberwolves where they recorded turnovers totaling 13 and 12 respectively.

Defensively, while matching up blocks with nine against Memphis, they allowed their opponents to score over half their attempts from inside the paint. This defensive vulnerability could be exploited by Chicago's offense if not addressed.

The upcoming game presents another opportunity for the Pistons to refine these aspects of play. With home-court advantage at Little Caesars Arena – known for its energetic atmosphere – it could provide just enough edge for them to turn things around.
