Wizards' Struggle and Effort

Despite falling short, The Washington Wizards had moments that showcased their potential. They managed to score 104 points against a tough Pistons defense. With an overall field goal percentage matching that of Detroit at 47 percent and converting three-point shots at an impressive rate of 44 percent themselves showed glimpses of efficiency.

However, turnovers proved costly for The Wizards as they gave up possession seventeen times which translated into significant scoring opportunities for Detroit. Their effort on rebounds was commendable though; both teams were nearly matched with Detroit edging slightly ahead at fifty-five total rebounds compared to Washington's fifty.
