Pistons Dominate on Both Ends


The Detroit Pistons showcased their prowess throughout the game, leading for over 40 minutes and achieving their biggest lead of 13 points. Their offensive strategy was highly effective, resulting in a field goal percentage of 52 percent and an impressive three-point shooting performance at 58 percent. The team's efficiency rating stood out at an exceptional level of 152.


Key players made significant contributions to this victory. Tim Hardaway Jr. led the scoring for the Pistons with an outstanding performance that included making six out of seven attempts from beyond the arc, totaling up to a game-high of 27 points. Cade Cunningham also had a remarkable night, achieving his first triple-double of the season with 22 points, a career-high of 17 assists, and grabbing ten rebounds.

Raptors' Efforts Fall Short


Despite their efforts and leading briefly by two points during the contest, Toronto Raptors couldn't maintain momentum against Detroit's aggressive gameplay. They finished with a solid field goal percentage at 44 percent and were competitive from behind the arc as well (42 percent). Fred VanVleet led Toronto in scoring but struggled against Detroit's defense which limited his effectiveness on several occasions throughout this matchup.
