First Quarter

The opening quarter set the tone for what would be a commanding performance by the Pistons. They outscored the Knicks 30-29, with Cade Cunningham leading the charge. His ability to orchestrate plays and find open teammates was evident as he dished out multiple assists early on. The Motor City squad's defense also made its presence felt, with Isaiah Stewart contributing significantly in rebounds and blocks.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Detroit extended their lead by scoring 34 points compared to New York's 25. Jaden Ivey emerged as a key player during this period, showcasing his shooting accuracy by converting over half of his field goal attempts. The Pistons' bench also played an instrumental role in maintaining momentum, adding valuable points that kept their advantage intact.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw both teams struggling offensively; however, Detroit managed to maintain control with a solid defensive effort that limited New York to just 15 points while scoring 25 themselves. Ausar Thompson's energy on defense resulted in crucial steals that disrupted any rhythm attempted by the Knicks.

Fourth Quarter

As they entered into fourth quarter action, Detroit continued their dominance by adding another impressive tally of 32 points against New York’s response of only 21 points scored within this segment alone! Duncan Robinson contributed effectively off-the-bench alongside Javonte Green who provided additional support through timely steals which further cemented victory for them overall!

Despite valiant efforts from players like Mikal Bridges who tried bridging gaps between deficits faced throughout match duration - ultimately it wasn't enough overcome challenges posed defensively nor offensively when facing such formidable opponents like those found within ranks belonging specifically towards members associated directly under banner representing 'Bad Boys'.
