In their most recent game against the Dallas Mavericks, despite a strong start with 27 points in the first quarter, they couldn't maintain momentum, ultimately falling short with 99 points to Dallas's 109. The team struggled from beyond the arc with only a 32 percent success rate on three-point attempts and an overall field goal percentage of just 40 percent. However, they did show strength inside by scoring 48 points in the paint.

The previous game saw a more favorable outcome for Golden State as they secured a win over San Antonio Spurs with an impressive scoreline of 112-102. Their field goal percentage improved significantly to 50 percent and their three-point shooting was also on target at an impressive rate of 44 percent. However, consistency remains elusive as evidenced by another loss prior to that against San Antonio Spurs where they scored well but allowed too many points defensively ending up losing by thirteen points.

As we look towards this upcoming match-up in Miami, it is crucial for Golden State to tighten up defensively while maintaining their offensive efficiency especially from downtown which has proven pivotal in past victories.
