Golden State Warriors close the fourth-quarter curtain on the Washington Wizards at Chase Center

The Golden State Warriors moved to 36-38 with a 131-126 result over the the Washington Wizards, who came in at 17-56, at Chase Center in San Francisco.

First quarter


The Warriors opened with 38 points in the first quarter while the Wizards scored 25, and the Dubs hit 43 percent from 3 on 44 attempts for the game.


The Warriors also set an early tone with 32 assists and a 2.67 assist-to-turnover ratio, while the Wiz finished with 29 assists.


Second quarter


The Warriors added 34 points in the second quarter and carried control that matched a 16-point biggest lead, while the Wizards put up 35 behind 53 percent shooting on 95 attempts.


The Wizards leaned on 66 bench points and 54 points in the paint, while the Warriors countered with 24 made free throws on 77 percent shooting at the line.


Third quarter


The Wizards won the third quarter 34-20, and DC’s 18 made 3-pointers on 43 percent shooting tightened a game that featured 4 ties and 5 lead changes.


The Warriors stayed afloat on the glass with 52 total rebounds and 9 offensive rebounds, while the Wizards finished with 44 rebounds and 11 fast-break points.


Fourth quarter


The Warriors finished with 39 points in the fourth quarter, and Golden State Warriors vs Washington Wizards key moments included the Dubs producing 46 paint points on 64 percent shooting inside.


Brandin Podziemski posted 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists, and Draymond Green added 10 assists with 2 blocks as the Warriors closed with 44 made field goals on 52 percent shooting.
