Houston Rockets Set to Host Philadelphia 76ers at Toyota Center

As the Houston Rockets prepare to welcome the Philadelphia 76ers to the Toyota Center, fans are anticipating a game that will showcase both teams' recent performances and strategies. The Rockets have had a challenging season so far, with their record reflecting more losses than wins. However, their recent games show signs of both struggle and potential.

In their last three outings, the Rockets have shown a consistent ability to score in the paint but have struggled from beyond the arc. Their most recent game against Golden State saw them put up an impressive 72 points in the paint but only managed a three-point shooting percentage of around 11 percent. This lack of perimeter scoring was also evident in their matchup with Phoenix where they shot approximately 33 percent from deep.

Defensively, Houston has room for improvement as well; they've allowed an average of over 120 points against them in these past games. The team's defensive rating has been hovering around or above what is considered below-average by NBA standards.

On a positive note, free throw shooting has been strong for Houston, hitting around 90 percent against Golden State and about 79 percent versus Phoenix. Additionally, bench contributions have been solid with bench players contributing nearly half as many points as starters in recent games.

The upcoming game at Toyota Center presents an opportunity for Houston to capitalize on home-court advantage and address some of these inconsistencies. Fans can expect to see if Houston can leverage its strong inside scoring while finding ways to improve its perimeter defense and outside shooting.

The match is scheduled for December 6th at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. Fans looking forward to catching all the action live can tune into SportsNet SW if they're cheering from home territory or NBCS-PH+ for those supporting from away grounds.
