The Houston Rockets showcased a robust performance at the Toyota Center, leading for nearly 47 minutes and never once relinquishing their command of the game. Their largest lead was an impressive 23 points, underscoring their dominance throughout the matchup. The team's scoring was consistent across all four quarters, with each contributing no less than 27 points to their total tally.

Defensively, the Rockets were formidable with nine blocks and six steals that helped contain the Suns' offense. On offense, they were equally impressive with an effective field goal percentage of nearly 50 percent and a true shooting percentage approaching 58 percent. They also capitalized on second-chance opportunities by converting almost half of them into points.

The bench played a significant role in this victory as well, adding a solid 33 points to support their teammates on court. Free throws were another area where Houston excelled; they made an outstanding 91 percent from the line.

Rebounding was another strong suit for Houston in this game; they outrebounded Phoenix by a substantial margin with a total of 71 rebounds – including an impressive haul of defensive rebounds totaling fifty. This rebounding strength contributed significantly to limiting Phoenix's scoring chances and maintaining control over the pace of play.

On contrast, despite putting up resistance through blocks and steals amounting to seven and thirteen respectively, Phoenix struggled offensively against Houston's defense. They shot just above thirty-two percent from field goals overall and only twenty-six percent from beyond three-point range which limited their ability to keep pace with Houston's scoring.

Phoenix did excel at free throw accuracy hitting almost ninety-five percent but it wasn't enough without additional offensive support elsewhere on court. Their bench contributed thirty-eight points but ultimately fell short against Houston’s more balanced attack across starters and reserves alike.
