The Rockets came out strong in the first quarter, putting up an impressive 37 points to the Raptors' 29. However, momentum shifted as they were held to just 17 points in the second quarter while Toronto added another 28 to their tally. The third and fourth quarters saw both teams battling hard with Houston scoring 28 and then finishing with a solid performance of 27 points in the final period.

Houston's offense was led by their ability to convert inside; they scored half of their total points (50) from within the paint and boasted a two-point field goal percentage of around 57 percent. They also capitalized on second-chance opportunities scoring 21 points following offensive rebounds. Free throws were another area where Houston excelled; they made approximately 84 percent of their attempts from the line.

Defensively, Houston managed seven blocks and nine steals but struggled to contain Toronto's fast break as they scored nearly as many fast break points (23) compared to Houston's own fast break efforts which resulted in around nineteen points. The defensive rating for Houston was approximately one hundred fourteen per one hundred possessions which indicated room for improvement on that end of the floor.

The bench contributed significantly with thirty-four bench points but turnovers proved costly for Houston as they gave up thirteen points off those turnovers while only forcing thirteen themselves from Toronto.

Looking ahead for fans of The Rockets: The next game is scheduled against New Orleans Pelicans at Smoothie King Center on November thirteenth at eight-thirty PM Eastern Time. This game will be broadcasted nationally on NBA TV channel two sixteen and locally on SportsNet SW channel six seventy-four for away fans wanting to catch all live-action.
