The Houston Rockets started strong, outscoring the Spurs in the first quarter with 29 points against 24. However, consistency eluded them as they were outpaced in subsequent quarters. The team's field goal percentage stood at 45 percent for the game, including a respectable 35 percent from beyond the arc. They managed to sink half of their fast break attempts and scored an impressive 62 points in paint.

Despite these efforts, turnovers proved costly for Houston as they gave up possession 14 times which translated into 17 points for San Antonio. The bench contributed significantly with 30 points but it wasn't enough to secure a win against a determined Spurs side that led by as much as 20 points during play.

Key players for Houston included those who fought hard under the rim leading to a total rebound count of 51; offensive rebounds accounted for nearly one-third of this number. Their defensive efforts resulted in four blocks and three steals over four quarters.

On San Antonio's side, efficiency was key; they boasted an overall efficiency rating higher than that of Houston and capitalized on fast breaks scoring an impressive nine out of twelve attempts. Their shooting accuracy from two-point range was particularly notable at over seventy percent success rate contributing heavily towards their final tally.

The lead changed hands twenty times throughout this nail-biting encounter which also saw both teams tied ten times indicating just how evenly matched these competitors were on this occasion.

Looking ahead, fans can catch The Houston Rockets back in action when they host Milwaukee Bucks at Toyota Center on December 12th. This upcoming match will be broadcasted live on SportsNet SW channel number six hundred seventy-four ensuring supporters won't miss any part of what promises to be another exciting fixture in The Rockets' season calendar.
