The Rockets' last game against the Pelicans was a narrow victory with a final score of 106-104. Their ability to maintain a lead for over 21 minutes and secure points off turnovers was crucial. Despite only blocking two shots and committing 12 turnovers, they managed an efficiency game score of 83.9, which indicates that when they control the ball, they can be highly effective.

In contrast, their performance against the Mavericks was nothing short of dominant; winning by a significant margin with a final score of 122-96. The team's efficiency skyrocketed to an impressive game score of 95.0 as they led for over 46 minutes and capitalized on fast break opportunities with high precision.

However, consistency is key, and it seemed lacking when facing off against the Hawks where despite scoring high at 127 points, defense took a backseat allowing Atlanta to outscore them with 134 points. The defensive rating in that match indicated room for improvement as every possession counted towards that high-scoring affair.

The upcoming clash will test whether Houston can harness their offensive prowess while tightening up defensively at home where fan support always plays its part in boosting team morale.
