In their last game on February 15 against the Memphis Grizzlies, HOU put up a valiant fight but ultimately fell short with a score of 113-121. The team's offensive efforts were commendable; they managed to rack up 60 points in the paint and added another 20 from fast breaks. However, defensive lapses proved costly as they allowed 121 points against them with a defensive rating of approximately 121. Despite this setback, there were positive takeaways: HOU demonstrated resilience by leading for over half an hour and showcased depth with 46 bench points.

Earlier on February 13, HOU edged out a victory over the New York Knicks in a closely contested battle that ended with a scoreline of 105-103. This win was underpinned by strategic playmaking and clutch performances in critical moments – traits that will be essential when facing OKC. The Rockets' ability to maintain control for nearly two-thirds of game time while also capitalizing on turnovers speaks volumes about their potential when they execute effectively.

The matchup before that saw HOU face off against Atlanta Hawks on February 11 where they scored impressively but again fell short defensively in a high-scoring affair ending at 113-122. Despite this loss, it's worth noting that HOU led for more than twelve minutes during this encounter – indicating that when they find rhythm early on, they can indeed dictate games.

Looking ahead at OKC's visit, it is imperative for Houston Rockets to tighten up defensively if they wish to secure victory. With players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who can explode offensively any given night for OKC, containing such threats should be top priority for coach Stephen Silas' squad.

The key battle will likely take place beyond the arc; both teams have had moderate success from three-point range recently (HOU with around thirty-one percent and OKC not far behind). Whichever side manages to improve its efficiency from downtown could tilt the scales in its favor.

Rockets fans should expect an intense clash come Sunday evening as both teams vie for supremacy. It’s crucial not only how well Houston starts but also how consistently they perform throughout all four quarters – maintaining intensity without succumbing to pressure or fatigue will be vital components towards clinching success.
