The Rockets' recent performance has been a rollercoaster of highs and lows. On February 15th, despite a valiant effort, they fell short against the Memphis Grizzlies with a score of 113-121. The stats tell us that while they had solid contributions from the bench with 46 points and managed to draw fouls effectively, leading to 28 free throw attempts, their field goal percentage was only at 41 percent. They also struggled defensively, allowing 121 points against them.

However, in their home game on February 13th against the New York Knicks, HOU showed resilience by securing a narrow win with a score of 105-103. Their defensive efforts were notably better as reflected in their steals count (12) and blocks (3). The team also demonstrated efficiency from beyond the arc hitting at a rate of 38 percent for three-pointers.

Looking back further to February 11th when facing off with Atlanta Hawks away from home shows another tough battle where HOU scored an impressive number of points (113), but ultimately lost by nine points. Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways such as six blocks showcasing defensive potential and maintaining an assists turnover ratio above one.

These past performances paint a picture of inconsistency yet potential for HOU. They've shown sparks of brilliance but have struggled to maintain momentum throughout entire games.

Against OKC Thunder who will have home-court advantage this time around – it's crucial for HOU not only to start strong but also sustain that intensity throughout all four quarters. The key could lie in tightening up defensively while continuing aggressive play that leads them frequently to the free-throw line – capitalizing on these opportunities could be decisive.
