In their last encounter on February 15 against the Memphis Grizzlies, HOU showed resilience but ultimately fell short with a final score of 113-121. The team's ability to lead for over half an hour and secure a bench contribution of 46 points demonstrates depth that could be pivotal against PHX. However, defensive woes were apparent as they allowed 121 points and had a defensive rating of nearly 121.

The game prior on February 13 saw HOU clinch a narrow victory over the New York Knicks with a scoreline of 105-103. A notable aspect was their ability to convert turnovers into points and maintain an assist-turnover ratio of 2.0, which reflects efficient ball handling – something they'll need against PHX's formidable defense.

Looking further back at February 11's game versus Atlanta Hawks paints a mixed picture for HOU. They managed to put up an impressive offensive display by scoring 113 points; however, they conceded one more point than they scored overall during this period (122-113), highlighting again that defense could be their Achilles' heel.

The upcoming clash with Phoenix Suns will test whether HOU can tighten up defensively while maintaining offensive fluidity. The Suns have been known for their strong home-court advantage at Footprint Center and will not make things easy for visiting teams.

For Rockets fans hoping for success in Arizona, it will come down to whether or not HOU can replicate its offensive prowess while finding new ways to stifle opponents' scoring runs – especially in critical moments late in games.

As we look ahead, it is clear that if Houston wants any chance at victory on March 2nd at Footprint Center in Phoenix; they must bring both tenacity and discipline onto the court.
