Analyzing past games, it's clear that Houston has been struggling with consistency. Despite a commendable effort against the Memphis Grizzlies where they scored 113 points and showed strength in paint scoring with 60 points, they ultimately fell short due to defensive lapses that led to a 121-113 loss. Their field goal percentage stood at 41 percent and three-point shooting was just at 31 percent – areas that need improvement.

In their home game against the New York Knicks, however, there was an uptick in performance as they clinched a narrow victory with a score of 105-103. The team showcased better control over turnovers and an improved assists-to-turnover ratio of 2.0. Their bench contributed significantly with fast break points and second-chance points showing signs of vitality.

The trend continued when playing away against Atlanta Hawks; although they lost by nine points (122-113), there were positive takeaways such as bench scoring (33 points) and maintaining leads during parts of the game.

For this upcoming match-up in Phoenix, it’s crucial for Houston to tighten up defensively while capitalizing on offensive rebounds and second-chance opportunities which have been strong suits recently. Fans should look out for how well Houston manages ball possession and whether they can increase efficiency from beyond the arc – key factors that could determine their success on enemy territory.
