They outperformed the Mavericks on free throws, boasting an impressive 84 percent accuracy rate and showed strength off the bench with 49 points contributed by non-starters. However, they struggled from beyond the arc at just 34 percent compared to Dallas' scorching 51 percent.


The game prior saw Houston edge out Utah's Jazz by one point in a nail-biter finish. Their defensive efforts shone through as they held their opponents to just over one point per possession while maintaining nearly equal offensive efficiency.
