Second Quarter

In the second quarter, both teams matched each other's intensity by scoring 27 points each. Reed Sheppard showed his prowess on the court for Red Nation with a notable performance that included crucial assists and baskets. Despite their efforts, Rip City managed to keep pace thanks to their efficient shooting from beyond the arc.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw a surge from H-Town as they put up an impressive 34 points compared to Rip City's 22 points. Amen Thompson's dynamic play was pivotal during this period as he contributed both offensively and defensively for Red Nation. His ability to drive into the paint and score was complemented by solid defensive stops.

Fourth Quarter

However, it was in the final quarter where things took a turn at Moda Center. The Blazers rallied back with an explosive performance, scoring 34 points while limiting Houston to just 15 points in this decisive period. Jerami Grant led Rip City's charge with key plays that turned momentum in favor of Portland.

Despite leading for most of the game and having built up a significant advantage earlier on, H-Town couldn't withstand Rip City's late-game push which resulted in them falling short at closing time.

The Houston Rockets vs Portland Trail Blazers final score ended at 111-105 favoring Portland after an intense battle marked by numerous lead changes throughout all four quarters.

Looking ahead, Red Nation will travel next to face Sacramento Kings on January 11th at Golden 1 Center scheduled for broadcast on SCHN or NBCS-CA starting from around evening hours local time (9:00 PM EDT). Fans can tune into these networks then!
