First Quarter

The Rockets came out strong in the first quarter, establishing an early lead by scoring 38 points compared to the Jazz's 22. Alperen Sengun played a pivotal role during this period, contributing significantly with his scoring and assists. The team's shooting accuracy was evident as they made an impressive start from beyond the arc.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, H-Town maintained their momentum by adding another 30 points to their tally while keeping Utah at bay with only 25 points. Jabari Smith Jr.'s defensive prowess shone through as he recorded multiple blocks that thwarted several attempts by the Jazz to close in on their lead.

Third Quarter

The third quarter saw Red Nation continue its dominance on both ends of the court. With Amen Thompson stepping up offensively and defensively, they managed to extend their advantage further by outscoring Utah once again—32 points against Utah's 28—demonstrating effective ball movement and strategic plays.

Fourth Quarter

Despite a late surge from Utah in which they scored 30 points in the fourth quarter, it wasn't enough to overcome Houston's commanding performance throughout most of the game. The Rockets' bench also contributed effectively during this period ensuring that there were no lapses in intensity or focus.

Overall, what went wrong for Houston Rockets was minimal as they executed well across all quarters leading them comfortably past their opponents—a testament highlighted within this comprehensive Houston Rockets vs Utah Jazz recap showcasing key moments such as stellar shooting percentages coupled alongside solid defensive efforts like blocking shots consistently throughout each segment played today!
