First quarter


The Houston Rockets opened with 33 quarter points while the Spurs had 32, and H-Town logged 16 points in the paint during the opening stretch on the way to 58 paint points.

The Rockets finished with 26 points in the fourth quarter and ended with 25 assists against 12 turnovers, and Kevin Durant’s previous-game 23 points aligned with Houston’s push to keep scoring pressure on.


The Spurs closed with 35 points in the fourth quarter, and San Antonio turned 8 Rockets turnovers into 25 points off turnovers while holding a 5.43 assist to turnover ratio.
