In their last outing against the New York Knicks, the Pacers' offense was firing on all cylinders as they put up an impressive 125 points. Their shooting efficiency was remarkable with field goals at 61 percent and three-pointers at 48 percent. The team's ability to score in the paint was also evident as they made 72 percent of their attempts from that area.

The bench has been providing substantial support too, contributing significantly with points off turnovers and second-chance points. This depth will be crucial against a Pistons team looking to disrupt the Pacers' rhythm.

Defensively, there is room for improvement for Indiana; despite winning their last game, they allowed 111 points against the Knicks. They'll need to tighten up their defensive efforts without compromising their offensive flow.

The upcoming game promises excitement with both teams eager to assert dominance early on. The home court advantage should play into Indiana's hands as they look to leverage fan support and familiarity with Gainbridge Fieldhouse's environment.
