Indiana Pacers Ready to Conquer Oklahoma City Thunder at Gainbridge Fieldhouse

First Quarter

The Indiana Pacers have shown resilience and determination throughout the playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In their previous encounter on June 11, 2025, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Pacers secured a victory with a score of 116-107. The first quarter saw the Pacers trailing slightly behind OKC, scoring 24 points compared to OKC's 32. Despite this initial setback, Indiana's defense was formidable with Myles Turner leading in blocks.

Second Quarter

The second quarter was where the Pacers truly shone. They outscored OKC by an impressive margin of 40-28. This surge was fueled by Tyrese Haliburton's playmaking abilities and Buddy Hield’s sharpshooting from beyond the arc. The team capitalized on fast break opportunities and maintained a high shooting percentage from both two-point and three-point ranges.

Third Quarter

In contrast to their explosive second quarter, Indiana faced challenges in maintaining their momentum during the third period. They managed only 20 points while allowing OKC to close in with 29 points of their own. However, despite this dip in performance, key defensive plays kept them within striking distance.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw Indiana reclaim control with strategic plays that emphasized ball movement and exploiting mismatches against OKC’s defense. Scoring an impressive 32 points while limiting OKC to just 18 ensured that they sealed their victory convincingly.

Throughout this series so far, one cannot overlook how crucial bench contributions have been for Indiana’s success; they amassed significant bench points which provided much-needed depth against a strong Thunder lineup.
