Clash of Titans at Crypto.com Arena: Clippers Set to Duel Suns

In their last meeting on January 4th, the Clippers emerged victorious with a commanding 131-122 win over the Suns. That night, they showcased an offensive masterclass with a true shooting percentage of 73 percent and an effective field goal percentage of 67 percent. Their scoring was spread across quarters consistently, never dipping below 24 points in any period.

The bench played a significant role in that victory by contributing 28 points. This depth will once again be critical against a resilient Suns team that managed to put up 122 points despite taking the loss. The Clippers' ability to rotate players without losing momentum could prove decisive.

Defensively, there's room for improvement for LAC as they allowed PHX to shoot over 60 percent from two-point range and maintain an offensive rating of over 125 in their last encounter. However, it's worth noting that LAC had nine steals and five blocks during that game which indicates their potential for defensive disruption.

The Phoenix Suns will not make it easy though; they have shown they can score heavily too as evidenced by putting up impressive numbers even in defeat. With both teams having potent offenses, this upcoming game is likely going to be another high-scoring affair.

For fans looking forward to this matchup on January 8th at Crypto.com Arena starting at 7:30 PM local time (10:30 PM ET), you can catch all the action live on NBA TV channel number is available nationally or BSSC and AZFamily for local broadcasts in Los Angeles and Phoenix respectively.
