Clippers and Rockets Engage in Fierce Battle at Toyota Center

The Los Angeles Clippers faced off against the Houston Rockets in a closely contested game, ultimately falling short with a final score of 103-111. This result moves the Clippers to a 6-6 record for the season, while the Rockets improve to 8-4. Despite a valiant effort, including leading for over 12 minutes and achieving a biggest lead of 11 points, the Clippers couldn't maintain their momentum against the Rockets' robust performance.

Key Performances on Both Sides


James Harden stood out for the LA Clippers with an impressive stat line of 19 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. His contribution was pivotal in keeping the game competitive. Derrick Jones Jr. also made significant contributions with an efficient shooting night that resulted in 11 points on a remarkable field goal percentage of 67 percent. Terance Mann added another layer of depth to the Clippers' attack with his all-around performance that included 14 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, and two steals.


On the opposing side, The Houston Rockets showcased their strength both offensively and defensively. Their ability to capitalize on second-chance opportunities was evident as they scored 19 second-chance points compared to just six by The Clippers. Furthermore, The Rockets dominated inside by scoring more than half their total points (52) in paint areas.
